This web site grew out of a collection of notes that I (Tony) created for my Japanese classes at the University of Georgia. Recently, I have become enamored with the idea of a learning community focused on supporting all members in their learning. While there are numerous excellent resources on the Internet for learning Japanese, they seem to be scattered here and about, and finding the good stuff (and avoiding the bad) is difficult for the new learner. I hope that JwTS will grow to become part of the solution to that problem, eventually becoming a major central point for Japanese language learners to congregate on the Internet.

Donate to JwTS
JwTS currently costs a very poor graduate student over $450/year in hosting fees. (T_T) Donations to help defray these costs are greatly appreciated. Donations will only be used for the support and development of the JwTS site.
