I posted some comments/questions on the Genkier Users Group page. I think I figured out that the sound isn't working on my mac, but I'm not sure if the decks that your have uploaded included sound and japanese writing. For the Kana Decks, the Japanese alphabets show up fine I just don't know if there is a sound file associated with the answers. For the Vocabulary Lesssons, the pictures and sound files work fine but there is no Japanese writing associated with the answers - I only hear the answer. I would think that the hiragana spellings would be included in the answer. Please enlighten.
Also, there is not a sound file for the "21 years old" flash card.

Good to know, so I can stop trying to figure out if everything is working correctly! Except my mac won't play sound. :( I've tried fixing it, but no luck so far.
The kana decks don't contain sound yet, which is a definite shortcoming. I do intend to add sound as soon as possible, I just need to find the time to sit down with a native speaker and get them to help me record all of the sounds.
It sounds like I need to tweak the Anki template on the vocabulary lesson decks. I'll do my best to get that done tomorrow--it's kind of late right now, and I'm about to crash.
You're right, "21 years old" doesn't have sound, and needs to be fixed. Thank you for reminding me!
