Well, I guess I'll start this topic, but everyone else post, too!

Wasn't really sure what the toilet bubble was for.

Irasshaimase.

A poster I bought because I'm cool like that.

I really liked this bonsai.

A phoenix that was on top of the omikoshi.

I took more, but these are the pictures I felt like posting. Anyone else have some?

トイレ バブル

Actually, the toilet bubble is there so that they can do demos of the "squirting action" of the ウオッシュレット.

ウオッシュレット are truly wonderful devices, by the way, and almost every (individually owned) toilet in Japan has one. Once you get used to them, they're hard to live without!

Toilet bubble

I believe the bubble is to keep little kids from using it.  Sometimes they think display toilets are there for their convenience so they don't have to find the restroom.  I've seen some with flat plastic covers, but don't think a kid would see that (or understand it) before it was too late.  The bubble is better.

Thanks for the pictures.

Some pictures.

I'm not in your class, but I was there helping at a booth and took a few pictures I'll share!

ahh

Those are nice! ^.^ I would've taken more pictures myself, but I only managed one lousy shot before my phone died on me. Should've brought my actual camera...ahh well. Did you get a shot of the kitsune guy?

Well, what I'm going to do instead is post links to the pictures. That way, you can all still see them.

posting images

Yeah, it looks like posting images to forum threads is borked.

Please try choosing "Image" from the "Create content" menu, and create one that way. That should work.

Sorry about that! (^^;

Well, that was a fail. I used the insert image button. Wrong thing to do? Apparently so, but does anyone know how to fix this?
