I just got the following from a mailing list that I'm on, and thought that some of you might be interested:
Dear Sensei-gata,
I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you all enjoyed your holiday season.
As you may all be aware, the 2010 JLPT will have a new five level format along with changes in the organization and grading. These changes were announced last year and the Official Guidebook and Sample Questions for the new test have just been released (in English) on the Official Worldwide JLPT Website. I have provided the links to the official website, the guidebook/answer booklets, and to the Official United States JLPT website below.
The summary along with the sample questions and listening section CD is published by Bojinsha and is available for purchase in two volumes.
Title of books:
「新しい日本語の力試験ガイドブック 概要版と問題例集:N1, N2, N3」CD付(凡人社)
「新しい日本語の力試験ガイドブック 概要版と問題例集:N4, N5」CD付(凡人社)
You can contact JPT America Inc at the URL below for additional information. The books are not listed on their website so you will have to ask for it.
If you have any questions regarding the new test, please feel free to contact me at anytime.
