If you use Google Chrome, you probably already know that the address bar also functions as a search bar for Google.  You can add other search engines to the search bar and access them using a keyword as well.  Here's how to add the Yamasa Online Kanji search to your Google address bar to quickly look up information about a particular kanji.

1. Right click on the address bar and select "Edit Search Engines."

2. Click on the + on the bottom left to add a new search engine.

3. Enter a name for the search (e.g., Yamasa Kanji Search).

4. For keyword enter something memorable.  I use "k" since it's the first letter of kanji.

5. For the URL enter: http://www.yamasa.cc/members/ocjs/kanjidic.nsf/SortedByKanji2THEnglish/%s

6. Press ok.

Now when your cursor is in the address bar simply type [keyword] [kanji], press enter and you'll be taken to the dictionary entry on Yamasa for that kanji.  For example, to see the dictionary entry for 九 I would type "k 九" (without the quotes of course) and press enter.

You can use this method to search other sites as well.  The following URL will work to add ALC using the same steps above: http://eow.alc.co.jp/%s
