The attached PDF file explains what you need to do to start using Anki with our first deck. The first deck we will use covers all of the hiragana and katakana in James Heisig's Remembering the Kana, which we will be using for the first few weeks of class.
This file also explains how to submit your Anki decks to me, and so is required reading for all students registered in my JPNS 1001 class for Fall 2009!

Hi, Quynh! What problems are
Hi, Quynh! What problems are you having with Anki? I use it on my Mac every day, and am creating all of the decks on this site with the Mac version of Anki. Let me know if you need help getting it set up (but first, be sure to get the latest version of the program, and follow the tutorial in the PDF attached to this page!)
BTW, I'm sorry that it took me so long to approve your message for display. It was lost in the approval queue amongst a forest of spam attempts from evil spamming robots... (--;
Please consider registering on the site so that your comments are displayed immediately! =)
